High-Flow Turbine Flow Sensor for Small-Diameter Process Lines
The +GF+ Signet 3‑2100‑1H is a Type 2100 turbine (in-line rotor) flow sensor engineered for small-diameter piping where continuous, frequency-based flow measurement of clean liquids is required. Key parameters: 3–38 LPM (0.8–10 GPM) range, ±3% of reading linearity, ±0.5% repeatability, powered by 5–24 VDC with an open-collector NPN frequency output, and a 4.6 m shielded twisted-pair cable. Wetted materials are injection-molded PVDF body + ceramic bearings/shaft with FKM (Viton) O-rings for broad chemical resistance, and the removable electronics carry a NEMA 4X seal for field serviceability.

Its core function is to generate a flow-proportional frequency signal that feeds Signet instruments (8550 / 8900 / 9900 / 9950) or a PLC high-speed counter for dosing pump control, batch totalization, pump-protection interlocks, and flow-alarm logic. Typical uses include chemical additive skids, fertigation, textile dyeing, high-purity chemical dispensing, and water-treatment dosing loops—always clean liquid only (not gas). Advantages are the non-magnetic turbine + all-PVDF wetted path for aggressive media compatibility, union-end/barb/threaded connector flexibility for tubing or ½″ pipe, and field-replaceable NEMA 4X electronics that simplify maintenance without breaking the piping.
